The main issue is that the stem of the plug isn't tapered and is very small. Designers do this to ensure a snug fit for the plug. Given that there are three size options included in this kit, I don’t think a snug fit is a problem at all, which makes this design choice feel careless more than anything. No tapering on the stem means they glide in smoothly since the head is your typical shape, but they stretch you suddenly on the way out because the area resting in your entrance is considerably smaller than the end of the plug. So, if you’re just starting out with anal play, these will probably be an uncomfortable way to start. If they were silicone, they’d have a little more give and be gentler on the body. Metal is a hard medium to begin with and requires some time and practice to get used to. If you’re really comfortable with anal play and have used similar plugs, these might be great for you - ignore my issues with the stem design.
